Staffing Requirements*

New Direction® VLCD and LCD

  • Medical Doctor - Passion for obesity treatment
  • Nurse - Registered Nurse or Medical Technician
  • Registered Dietitian - Experience in weight management
  • Behaviorist - Degreed behaviorist or social worker, experience in addictions
  • Exercise Specialist - Certified or cardiac rehab R.N.
  • Program Manager - Clinical and marketing experience and sales responsibility
  • Office Coordinator - Clinical experience

*This is the ideal team of professionals to employ full-time. Many centers have contract agreements to fulfill these services.

30-Day Start-Up Process

  • Contract Signed
  • Initial order placed for $5,000 which represents a 30-day supply of beverages for approximately 20 patients
  • Training and education materials delivered
  • Two day in-person training with your BDM for all staff to:
    1. Review/Implement Basic Operations
    2. Review Program Protocols
    3. Develop a Business and Marketing Plan
    4. Develop Orientation Materials and Presentation
  • An in-person progress assessment visit by your BDM within 180 days of start up
